FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am not a big box co which means I don't do the hidden "flat rate" prices that they do. Not everything needs to be replaced. I don't charge 400 and hour and I'm sorry but I can't understand how anyone can. A minor rebuild of a water closet (toilet bowl), which consists of a fill valve a flapper and a supply line should never be 275 dollars that's highway robbery! Yet that's what other cos are charging. something like that as an example should be no more than 125 dollars max! If it's a very old antique type then perhaps those parts will be more expensive but a standard 2 piece toilet is not hard to rebuild if you know what you're doing. Or a standard water heater, local cos are charging 2000 for a direct replacement which is just nuts. Parts and labor included you should be around 1000. That's half the price of what they are charging for an example
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new client calls whether it be from here or a recommendation and depending on the severity of the call, I'll always call my potential clients as soon as I have theor contact information. I don't like to wait and I understand that most people don't either so my Christian background dictates I do to others as I would want done to me, I nvr I've made contact for the first time I can always tell by my clients description how bad off their plumbing issue may be, I'll generally attempt to make the first available appointment unless otherwise indicated by my clients that a first available is not necessary. I am a single dad and my child is in school which means at 315pm Mon - Fri I run to pick him up. I happen to love my life I'm very blessed to have my son full-time and I enjoy being who I am. I like working with different personalities I've done it for so long it's what I'm good at. I look forward to servicing my clients plumbing and sometimes plumber issue. God Bless
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in the plumbing and remodeling business since the age of 15. I come from a family of phenomenal builders Carpenters and finish carpenters but I could not swing a hammer without breaking something if my life depended on it back then so I needed to find something that I could call my own and save my family on time from repairing my putting down my hammer.
