Introduction: I have 18 years experience with earning a living as a painter. I have worked closely with professional property managers during this time and with one of Greenville’s most reputable property management companies. Attention to detail and thorough work kept me working for professionals in a competitive and demanding market. I have worked with individual home owners and business owners as well, keeping homes and offices looking fresh and clean with new finishes. I even refinish bathtubs and sinks as a specialty skill. When tubs and sinks don’t come clean anymore or surface finishes chip they need to be refinished. I can do that. A good paint job requires good preparation, attention to detail, an organized approach to each job and consistent effort- all of which added up to many years of painting experience in and around Greenville. The most satisfying part of painting is the end result when the room looks tidy, clean and new.

I found Brannon on Thumbtack , after my painter suddenly disappeared. He came to my father's house, we agreed on a price, and he immediately began to work that day. Each day he advised us of what he planned to accomplish and he met his daily goals. When we ran out of paint, he picked up the paint for us, which we of course paid him for. For the price, he completed the paint job we expected. He worked extremely hard and I have never hired a contractor who worked harder then him. When he showed up later than expected one day, he contacted us to keep in touch and stayed later to keep on schedule. He even worked on the 4 of July, to finish as promised. I wish he lived closer to us (we live in FL) so he could paint my house. If you want a hard working contractor with a great work ethic, hire Brannon. You won't be disappointed.

I posted a request on Thumbtack to handle a punch list for a real estate closing. Brannon responded very quickly and met me at the property the next day. He handled multiple items for me, including repairing flashing around the chimney, masonry repairs to a patio, house foundation, and chimney, hung bi-fold doors that were not in a perfect opening, sealed openings around utility lines from the house, and patched/sanded/painted multiple large openings in the walls that a plumber had to make to repair some plumbing issues. He charged a very fair price, completed the work ahead of schedule, and even made a good recommendation for a contractor to handle a roofing issue he was uncomfortable tackling. A great experience all around and we will definitely be calling Brannon again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard price for property managers to accommodate for managing volume. For individual paint jobs pricing is based on a standard daily rate plus materials.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A thorough initial conversation about what they want done, what kind of finish they want and what finish they planned on using to accomplish the desired end result. I discuss their time frame. Then I talk about how I would go about accomplishing the work they need done and the time frame I will do so in. We talk about other details of the job and when I leave I make sure they are comfortable with me by being open and honest and we both have a clear understanding of each other. The first conversation is key before any work is done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
16 years of experience. Many different projects that require the understanding of many different finishes and paints on the market as well as which works best in a given situation.
