FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will discuss what colors they enjoy and the look they are going for if they don't already have a color picked out. I always say Pinterest is a project's best friend! Looking back through your boards makes it easy to pin point what is important to you and the style you like.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Three years ago I saw a dining set on Craigslist that I just had to have! I wasn't working at the time and needed to come up with a way to pay my husband back for his loan. ;) We had a curbside alert dresser in the garage that had been sitting there for a year so I painted it and sold it! I fell in love with the process and it became the best job I've ever had. I expanded to interior painting towards the end of 2015 but had tons of experience painting nearly every room in two homes before that.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've mostly worked with people wanting to update older pieces of furniture. I've done a few Ikea hacks over the past few years, as well. Since doing interior painting I've worked mostly with people looking to get their houses back to their "factory settings" before selling to move into their new home.
