Reed Payson did an outstanding job repairing our bathroom pocket door. He removed the trim as required to remove the door and quickly assessed multiple issues that were causing it to derail. He vacuumed out the pocket area, repaired the door rail, removed a nail that was causing friction, got the door back on, used a nail gun and applied caulk to reset the trim. Within two hours of his arrival he had the door and trim back on and the door is operating very smoothly ever since. Highly recommended!!!

I have to be honest and say that when I contacted Reed I was nervous as I had not met him or knew anything about him. He proved to be the best person to work with and trust to be in my daughter's home. His work and advice was top notch and his work ethic can not be questioned. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $65/hour for smaller projects, but for larger projects I work up a package price for the customer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In order to bid a home remodel, I have to go out to a customer's home and get an idea of the full scope of the project. After the first house visit, I work up a quote for the customer and send it within a 2-4 days (depending on how large the project is).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've have my OR CCB license for 19 years, and I am licensed, bonded and insured in the state of Oregon.
