FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on needs, and type of project, pricing options exist to support the budget, and are flexible, ie. - Lump sum - $/hr (average market pricing) - Based on deliverables, which is to say, I don't try to document every single minute and bill the client like an attorney. Discounts can also be provided. I operate with a professional services model, that is, initial discussions are exploratory, no fee charged. Its important to enjoy who you work with, and trust; these discussions enable this to happen.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process includes an introductory and exploratory discussion to gain greater insight about my client needs. Face to face is preference because we are relationship driven and this too is most effective. There is no cost for this. From there, based on magnitude and requirements of the engagement, a $/hr rate or lump sum is offered for the project. This is determined and discussed with the client, ensuring their best interest, timing and budget is fully considered.
