Al's Strings

Introduction: My name is Alana Okur and I specialize in violin and vocal coaching. Music is in my blood and bones! My father, played the bass and guitar for 50 years and my mother sang and played piano for 30 years (God rest their souls) . I've dedicated this business to my parents, most of all my father, Al Morris III, who recently passed away (March 9, 1957- January 10, 2018) I loved my parents with all of my heart so I wanted to be able to dedicate a passion of mine to them that I wouldn't have if it weren't for them. I've been teaching off and on for about 7 or 8 years now. I've been singing for 28 years and playing the violin for 20 years and I can't imagine my life without the blessing of music. My goal for my clients is to form a lasting relationship over the course of our lessons together. I will provide demonstrations and examples for your if you are a beginner, and offer advice and coaching for those more advanced. I can't wait to work with you!
