Introduction: I have an extensive creative background in both photography, web design, graphic design and marketing. My experience began with a degree from RIT in New York in Advertising Photography where I won several awards. I went on to act as the creative director and marketing manager for several start-up businesses. I've worked for both the University of California & University of Chicago. I also was the manager for a web development company which inspired me to start my own business. I have always loved helping people and helping businesses grow. I never provide the same advice for everyone, because businesses are different and success comes when you know your customers intimately and don't cookie cutter your interactions. I believe people want honest, clear, and inspiring communication which win their trust and their business.

Lionheart LLC provided EAA Chapter 932 with a website that moved us fully into the 21st century. Meira Leonard is knowledgeable, easy to work with, and highly skilled at asking for and incorporating client input. Our club previously had a very basic site that served as a placeholder, difficult to update and viewable only on a computer screen. We relied on a monthly emailed newsletter to keep in touch with our members. That limited contact resulted in limited participation, so we needed a way to reach out to our members on a more timely basis. In contrast, the site that Meira at Lionheart created configures itself perfectly to any screen: smartphone, tablet, computer, or smart-tv. It looks great and works well on all of them. The new homepage offers an instant glimpse into who we are and what we do, providing quick navigation to other areas within the site. EAA 932 gained a great new look and improved contact ability with our membership. As new articles are posted and events scheduled, pop-up notification informs members that an item of interest is available at the click of a mouse. Regular contact has bolstered support within the club’s community. Meira provided us with the training needed to maintain the website’s back-end on our own. New articles, event listings, news items and other elements can be added as they become available. Archived items are searchable and customizable tags can be applied, making it easy to locate past posts. A new online membership form provides an easy way for people to join or renew their membership and pay dues. The information is automatically added to our roster and payments are added to our PayPal account. As our membership grows, so will our new site. Meira is absolutely amazing to work with! After searching for months for product photographers here in Honolulu I finally came across LionHeart and immediately wanted Meira to take photos for me. I looked through her profile and was absolutely blown away by her work. Her work shows her professionalism and creativeness. Through the whole process she was very communicative and made it such breeze, I knew I could trust her 100%. She estimated that I'd get the photos back within 7 days, but it was delivered within a couple days. Talk about fast service! Her prices are very reasonable too! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate of $65/hour. I do not provide quotes as I find this to be the best way to not over or under charge my services. I am very good at project management and will work with and stay within your proposed budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first have a phone or even Skype conversation to get a clear sense of what you are looking for and learn about your business. Then, I provide a detailed proposal, which I review with you, so that we are both on the same page. Lastly, I collect a deposit and create a timeline along with a list of what I may need from you in terms of content.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with high honors from RIT in Rochester, New York in Advertising Photographic Illustration. I won the Thomas Ward Ball Memorial Award (highest award given to one recipient per year). I was also an SPAS Honor Show Award winner all 4 years. I trained in both photography, painting, typography, graphic design, digital manipulation, printing, and web design. I have certificates for Advanced HTML and CSS training from California.
