Arturo Ibarra was great from his very first visit to the completion of my project (a cinder block stucco'ed courtyard wall). He visualized the project design on his first visit, articulated it back to me verbally and gave me a precise quote (he held to this quote throughout the entire project; no variance). He knew exactly what I was looking for and gave it to me! He was not the low bidder nor was the highest bidder; but, he was the most detailed with his estimate and the most timely (first to provide a detailed quote). My intuition was that Arturo was the only bidder I could trust. My trust in Arturo proved to be well founded. He met EVERY commitment he made to me without complaint. He effectively fended off my wacko dysfunctional neighbors who tried to interfere with my project (I forewarned him). He did not let them intimidate him. He waited patiently while I went through the weeks long City of Houston required engineering and permitting process (very time consuming with a lot of administrative hurdles I might add). His project results even satisfied my wife (she is much more picky than am I). He finished all the little repairs and tie ins needed to deliver a complete project at the end. Many contractors overlook these when they get near completion in their rush to finish and get final payment. We always agreed on draw amounts for materials and milestone completion payments. Very reasonable about this and did not demand payment for unfinished work or money in advance of milestone completion. Mr. Ibarra is an experienced mason who did a quality job that met my very exacting project standards. I sincerely doubt that the other 3 bidders would have done nearly as well.

I hired Arturo to repair several stones in the exterior of our house. He arrived early, was very professional, very efficient and even checked the rest of the stones and to repair ones that I didn't know needed it - all for no added cost.

Removing efflorescence from the porch. A Ibarra worked for a few hours on it but were not able to remove it completely without damaging the brick. I would definitely recommend them.
