Tried Professionalism and client satisfaction comes first with Tell Projects. I attached a few pictures but the job they did went above and beyond my expectations. I went through 7 contractors before deciding on tell. What made them stand out was their responsiveness and respect for the client. I feel they are fair priced and provide you with quality work. They worked with my hectic work/ travel schedule and made my dream bathroom come true.Nov 13, 2018VerifiedTell Projects's reply

So they had the contracter come out to my house to do measurements in order for them to give me a quote, he did his measurements I told him what I wanted and he said the office would get back to me with the quote since his job was only to do that part and it would take 24 hours; I waited 2 days no response, I called the office they told me they would get it out to me that day, still nothing for another 2 days called them back they said they were back up but she would get it out to me to this day I'm still waiting. Thank God there are other contractors they are unprofessionalMay 17, 2017VerifiedTell Projects's reply

Please send us an email or call our office at (832)591-7991 to confirm that we have the correct email. Sorry for the misunderstanding and thanks for understanding.
Drywall Repair and Texturing
Needed a drywall repair on the ceiling. Tell Projects did a terrific job. Professional back office scheduling and coordination with contractor. High quality repair job. All came with a fair price tag. Will definitely consider for future handy projects. Highly recommended!Mar 20, 2017VerifiedTell Projects's reply
Patrick, We appreciate the kind words as we strive to deliver excellent customer service to all. We look forward to working with you in the future.
This was the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor EVER! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, they do not do professional woodwork. I began with setting up my initial meeting with Zack, the project manager, who came out to give me a quote for building some additional shelves at the top of my closet for shoes...seemed simple enough. After I explained what I wanted and where I wanted the shelves to start and stop Zack gave me a quote for $1000 for 7 wood shelves and to install a soundbar shelf that I purchased from Amazon and the job would be completed in one day. He also suggested that I use metal brackets at the end of each shelf which was part of the reason for the quote but I would make the work look great. The quote sounded incredibly high from the beginning but I'm all about getting what you pay for and Zack assured me they would be custom shelves and they did great work and I would be so happy with the result that I would definitely be recommending Tell Projects to friends, so I trusted what he was saying and agreed to do the project and paid them a $300 deposit. The crew arrived at 10am to do the job and Zack took the 2 workers to my closet to explain the job. He came back out to me and insisted that if anything didn't look right or I wasn't satisfied to please let the workers know. He explained to me he had another project going on at the same time as mine so he would be back periodically to check on the workers progress - HE NEVER CAME BACK. The first mistake occurred (partly to my fault) that what I described to Zack was actually only 5 shelves (when I was telling him how many shelves I wanted for shoes I didn't realize I was already counting my existing shelves) so the workers literally started building a shelf like 2 inches from the ceiling of the closet. I explained to Oscar that would make no sense since the whole reason for the job is for shoe storage. Next mistake, the shelves intersected and went all the way from one wall to the other, which was something I told Zack I specifically did not want. The next mistake - the workers adjust the wood but now there is about a 1/2 inch gap between the wood and the top of the metal bracket that was supposed to make the shelves look "beautiful and custom". The workers left for a little over an hour and returned with a thin piece of wood to fill the gap. They install the soundbar shelf (without a stud finder so there are about 7 random holes in the wall) and after this they decided to quit work for the day which upset me because I was promised everything would be completed in one day. I speak with Zack that evening and we agree that the workers can come back on Monday to finish. Monday comes and only one of the workers and Zack show up. I explain to him I am still bothered that I had to waste an extra day at home because of the inefficiency the first working day but he once again reassures me that I'll love the end result so I believe him once again and just wait. Oscar begins by securing the thinner pieces of added wood to the existing thicker pieces of wood...I check every couple of hours to make sure things look right but don't want to interfere too much because I know he's the professional. The next thing I know Oscar is painting the shelves...#1 the paint color does not match AT ALL. They are painted a pure white while the rest of my closet is off white (I was promised that the color would match in my initial consultation with Zack) I was in shock. The second shock this that when Oscar secured the 2 pieces of wood to each other they are crooked so you can very obviously see there are 2 pieces stuck together. He didn't bother to sand anything to make them smooth or even care enough to align them so they look similar. After I mention this and explain why it's unacceptable HE ACTUALLY AGREES WITH ME and proceeds to say he can fix it but he needs to take down everything and start over again. I tell him that is completely unacceptable then he calls Zack (who has only shown up once but has never come to see anything close to the finishing product) and then proceeds to pack up for the day again. I receive a call from Zack that says they need yet another day to work. I told him that the work looks horrible and I need him to come to my house to see the work and explain to me how they can fix it. He tells me he is 45 minutes away and with traffic it may take him longer. At this point it is almost 6pm. I told him that is fine, I don't have plans to go anywhere for the rest of the night and I need him to see the problems so they can explain to me my options because this job is costing me a lot of money. He actually told me "you know I have a life too?" alluding to the fact that he did not want to spend his time to drive to my home that night. I was in utter shock! He told me if I didn't like them they would come rip them out and give me my money back. I explained to him at this point that is not an option because they have put 18 holes in my closet walls so they will never be the same. The shelves at this point are still sitting the way they were last Monday on 8/29. I'm telling you, I saw all the supposed pictures of their work before I hired them but it was NOTHING at all like what they built in my house. Spare yourself the time and money and find a company that is more honest and does quality work because that is not what you will get from Tell Projects!!!Sep 7, 2016VerifiedTell Projects's reply
Cerisse, I understand your frustration with the situation but if you are going to write a review it would be nice to hear the whole story and not just bits and pieces. From the moment Zach arrived he told you that you do not have room for 7 shelves but you insisted. All he wanted to do was make you happy. They installed a few shelves, you didn't like it, so they took them out and re-installed them. Again you weren't happy with the way it looked so they took it out and re-installed it, this happened about 6 times.Of course there are going to be some holes in the walls. We wanted to come and finish our job, patch up all the holes for you and re-paint to make it look uniform, ON US, but you didn't want us to come back into your house. you told Zach you would slam the door in his face. I understand that you are frustrated but we even tried to reach you from the office and you would not answer our phone calls. How could we possibly come and finish our job in your home? You are right that Zach should have come over and we are taking care of the situation here on our end. We are still available to come out and patch the wall up if you would like. In fact we would be happy to do that because here at Tell-Projects, customer service is our top priority! We haven't taken a penny from you, except for the deposit. Please call us and let us know what more we can do to make the situation right (832) 591-7991. We have been in the business too long for a customer to walk away unhappy like you are. Please let us know what more we can do to make this right. I wish you all the best.
My house flooded and Tell Projects came to the rescue! Gave me a free estimate sent it within that week they came out and started my home remodel the following week. I had a huge problem with trust due to another contractor who took a deposit and ran with my money but Tell Projects gave me trust again with contractors. I am so happy with Zach, Michael, Aquiles and Gerzain. They are caring to details, responsible and great team put my house back together for my family and I again. I will definitely recommend them ro everyone to use Tell Projects for any major projects they need done in their home! I am more than impressed with their work!Nov 29, 2017Tell Projects's reply
