- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1. Marital, Relational, or Individual Counseling: $100.00 Per Session not Hour. Sessions can be from 1 to 2 hours. 2. Pre-Marital or Pre-Engagement Counseling: $250 for 6 - 8 Sessions, Plus $35 for there online Assessment. Using either the Prepare/Enrich by Life Innovations or SYMBIS by Les & Leslie Parrott. (Note - Couples who complete our Pre-Marital process qualify for a $62.50 discount on their Marriage License from the State of Texas.) 3. Wedding Ceremony Officiating: $250. 4. Personal or Private Marriage Nuptials Officiated in home or private location other than Church or Public Venue: $100.00
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. The Preparation: After being contacted by potential clients and receiving their contact info, we send out our initial paperwork.This initial paperwork is to be completed and sent back to us. They can fill them out and email them back to us. There are three forms, the first is the "Confidential Client Intake" form, it is to be filled out with both of you guys info on the same form. The second is the "Perspective on Marital/Relational Issues" form, this one is to be filled out by both of you on two separate forms. This will help us in identifying and assisting you with your issues and concerns from each of YOUR OWN perspectives. The third is our "Disclosure Statements and Qualifications" form, this one is for your personal records, it just tells you a little about us, and our process. After they look over the Initial Paperwork, if they decide to use Weakly Family Ministries, they complete the first two forms, email them back to us, and call to set up the initial meeting. And the rest is history. 2. The Process. Basic Counseling Guidelines: A. Weakly Family Ministries will diligently seek to address and minister to our client’s concerns by assisting them in uncovering, clarifying and confronting their real issues and concerns in a Biblical and Practical way. • We will help them to properly assess their situation. • We will assist in generating options for realistic resolution. B. Weakly Family Ministries will not force anyone to change, nor will we advise or make any life impacting or altering decisions on behalf of our clients. • We will assist the client in understanding their issues and concerns. The client must see the need for help and have a true desire to do something about it. • We will attempt with God’s direction, to encourage, admonish, correct, and train people to discover, understand and apply biblical truth to their life controlling issues. C. Weakly Family Ministries will not allow any form of reliance or dependence that would inhibit the independent thinking and reasoning of the counselee. • We will seek Godly wisdom and discernment in approaching each concern. • We will allow the counselee the freedom to respond in a way that is most appropriate for their particular situation. D. Since personal responsibility and accountability is our primary goal and focus, we may not spend more than 8 to 10 formal sessions assessing and clarifying the core issue(s). • At that point, both counselor and client will assess and evaluate the progress and determine if further counseling is feasible or needed. • Depending on the assessment, we may suggest an agenda for further help. Or we may make a referral to another professional Christian counselor or therapist.
