- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the University of Houston in 2006 with a Bachelors in Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2012. I started my business in 2009.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started my career in public accounting back in 2007 and experienced being laid off during the 2009 recession. I applied for jobs for 6 months straight and wasn't able to find work. It was during this time that I started helping friends and family with tax preparation, bookkeeping, and payroll. Almost 10 years later and I haven't looked back.
