FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is competitive and I try not to tack on any additional fees. I never charge for consultations or venue visits; I see this as part of the job. I also do not charge to bring subwoofers; I am a huge fan of bass and believe that without accurate sound delivery, guests will not have a good time. I personally hate hidden fees so I would never leverage these onto a customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always try to meet with customers beforehand. I love getting a chance to hear their music requests, plus it lets me see the venue and decide the best places to pull power from
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently hold a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering at Rice University, and am a PhD Candidate in Electrical Engineering at Rice Unviersity. Studying Electrical Engineering and Signal Processing has allowed me to become a better DJ as I know how to build my own lighting and sound systems.
