Introduction: Plumber or cop, which one? Following in the footsteps of my grandfather and father, I knew plumbing would be part of my future, however, it took a turn half way through the journey.
You see, I started as a plumbing apprentice shortly after high school and then decided to try my hand in the law enforcement world then went back to plumbing school, got licensed, and now do both! I know what your thinking plumber then cop. The truth is today, I do both full-time police officer proudly serving with the men and women of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, and plumber almost full-time as well.
I guess when I put more thought into it, I just like helping people. So call me for plumbing needs, and advice is free, quotes are free, or if you just want to go to lunch and talk about current topics or plumbing, let's do it.

My sewage pump kept running every 30 seconds and the pumped water kept running back into the pump. Mike and his helper showed up around noon to see what the problem was. They did some checking and decided I probably just needed a check valve. Mike cut the pipe to make sure the pump was ok and not dislodged and said he'd fix the pipe so it was flush with the pump and the ceiling. They didn't have the check valve with them so he said they would go and get it and then be back to finish the work. He also mentioned something about getting food from nearby to take to an event/practice for his kid. They left around 12:30pm.
At 2:45pm, Mike sends me a text telling me to go about my day, that he got held up but he didn't forget about me. I say ok even though I cannot use my kitchen sink, the dishwasher, the washing machine or the tub.
At 4:00pm, I sent Mike a text and ask when they will be back and remind him that I cannot run water from almost everything in my house until he comes and fixes my sewage pump. He responds that they will be back to my house in 30 minutes.
An hour later, Mike and his helper return to fix the sewage pump. They were done in around 45 minutes and the pump works perfectly.
I'm 100% satisfied with the work but not so much with having to waste an entire day and being unable to run any water while waiting for them to come back.
I would use them again though because they were polite, helpful, knowledgeable and they didn't try to do any work that wasn't necessary (every other quote I got was for work that wasn't required). I will just make sure to stay on them if they leave for any reason. $165 later and I have a functioning sewage pump and can run all the water I want.

Mike came out on a Sunday to replace my hot water heater. He was upfront and honest. Definitely recommend him.

We had a few issues that Mike and team took care of for us - first, the installation of a battery backup sump pump and second, a replacement of our primary pump when they noticed the existing one would likely fail on us. They took the time to do the piping nicely/neatly (we had a very small well which made it challenging) and now we can sleep soundly knowing the basement won't flood! Very responsive and easy to work with. Competitive pricing and overall really nice guys.
