Communication needs to be a lot better. Luckily flowers were not a high item on my priority list so the fact that there were some mistakes didn't really affect the day of. Vicky is very nice but ultimately I wasn't thrilled with the performance. I went with the lowest cost and guess I got what I paid for, but I still think several hundred dollars deserves a good job despite the simple order. Pros- She was on time the day of the wedding She was polite Her prices were great and fit my budget well The flowers delivered were arranged well and looked nice, especially the altar arrangement, it looked fantastic. Cons- Communication wasn't there. Took a long time to reply to emails and ignored one completely regarding my corsages for the mothers. I had asked weeks ahead of the wedding date that they be all white flowers and they showed up day of red/white (clashing with my Mom's red dress, a fact I emailed her about as the reasoning for making the adjustment). Emailed me the night before the wedding that Hurricane Irma had affected the flowers and they would not be what my expectations were. I had asked for bridesmaid to have a simple bouquet with one large white rose, surrounded by some pretty greenery. I get natural disasters and all that, but Hurricanes don't exactly just happen with no warning like a tornado or flood. There are no vendors, except Miami that carry large white roses? She used spray roses instead, which didn't look terrible, but weren't what I wanted. I just think this situation could have been handled better or communicated earlier. Finally, the wrap she used for the bridal bouquet was a mess. I asked for gold, but the material she used left a massive amount of chunky sparkles on everything and everyone that came into contact with the bouquet. I got gold but not the smartest material choice when everyone is in fancy attire. It was a mess and a hassle.

Vicki has been a pleasure to work with from the very beginning! She was flexible in meeting with me, which was so important as I was planning my wedding from out of state. I met in person once with her to discuss my wedding vision and desired floral arrangement/pieces. I was simply blown away by the number and quality of the flowers I had requested and the price! The other florists I had talked to not only went over the budget but they also couldn't get me flowers for all my tables for the reception without going further over budget. Vicki not only stayed within my budget but under it! Through the wedding planning process I did change a few things, but she was fast to respond and adjust my order. Everyone at the wedding was impressed with the flowers and even my husband commented on how great everything looked. You know it has to be good, if a guy comments on it. Vicki also was amazing by providing vases for the centerpieces, candle holders for our unity candle and even had an extra boutonniere when she delivered the flowers the morning of the wedding. My husband also commented that he appreciated she had left extra pins for each of the boutonnieres in case one got dropped or lost. It's been less than a week since the wedding so I do not have all of the pictures, but I did attach a picture of just some of the flowers we brought home with us including my bouquet, a bridesmaid bouquet and a table arrangement. If anyone in the Indianapolis area is looking for a florist, look no further than VSDesigns!

Vicki is very friendly and approachable. I felt comfortable with her as soon as I met her! She helped design and make fresh flower bouquets for my daughter's wedding with little notice! She worked within my time constraints and my budget. Very timely on delivery and pick up!

No. Each quote is unique. Pricing depends on the specifics of flower choice, quantities of flowers and whether they are needing reception pieces. Hence, the more you need, the less it will be, allowing me to buy in bigger bulk and saving you money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we start with a face to face consult. However, I have done many consults with out of town brides over the phone and through emails.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you find something you really like, stop looking. Pinterest is a tremendous help but continuing to look will only confuse you, limiting you to make a decision on what you really like.
