- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Before starting my culinary career I proudly served in the Army National Guard where I started as a Private and moved up to military police platoon sergeant. In July of 2013 I started my culinary career. I knew coming out of the Army that cooking made sense to me. The structure of the kitchen and the memories of bonding over food helped me decide to take the career leap. September of 2015 I landed a job at Cerulean, a popular downtown Indy restaurant working for a James Beard nominated chef where I have continued to grow and flourish in a high paced fine dining atmosphere.
