Introduction: Rockacy Creative Studios is an architectural rendering + design studio, centralized in Indianapolis, Indiana. I provide architectural illustrations + drawings that bring your visions, memories, and places to life. All I need is a photo to draw from. I have been published in South Magazine, Savannah Magazine, and "Architectural Drawing: A Compendium of Types and Methods" by Rendow Yee (3rd ed.). I can work from photos, architectural drawings (plans, elevations, and details), and sketches. I use a variety of mediums, but my specialty is hand-drawn artworks with graphite, ink, and watercolors. I can also do 3D modeling and non-photo realistic renderings and paintings. I want to make art more accessible, and a greater part of our everyday lives. I am passionate about keeping hand-drawn artworks relevant, beautiful, and affordable.

We commissioned Jason to paint the countryside priory in England in which we were married. He had recourse only to our wedding photos initially but put in a tremendous amount of research online before even lifting a pencil, pen or brush and the result is magnificent. I've seen plenty of Jason's other work as well, and it's always faultless and beautiful, whatever the subject, whether architectural or less formal, and across all his artistic media. On top of all that, he is such a warm, friendly, funny, genuine and dedicated person.

First pick the style that fits your taste (I draw in 3 styles: Graphite, Pen & Ink, and Watercolor), then pick the size of drawing to fit your budget. my pricing is on my website
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them to provide high resolution photo(s) of the building they want me to illustrate. They tell me the style to draw it in, and the size of drawing for the price.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was drawing and painting at a local Starbucks. A couple of people who were watching my progress behind me asked me to draw their houses, too. I said, "Sure". And the rest is history.
