Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have a unique set of skills on both the business and technical side, and that allows me to see a bigger picture and help small business owners think more strategically. My Services: Website: Content strategy & management; site structure; SEO; Wordpress site maintenance (updates, plug-ins, troubleshooting, etc.) Google Analytics: account set-up, dashboard development; content enhancement suggestions based on results. Social Media: Profile set-up; cross-platform branding; content creation; platform content strategy. Writing: Blog posts, articles, social media updates, sales letters. I love helping small businesses get noticed, so they can start seeing business results early on. When I see someone go out on their own, I know the courage that takes. That said, marketing, social media, and websites aren't everyone's thing. That shouldn't stop anyone from being successful. I can help get the word out, freeing business owners to focus on what they do best.

I needed personalized note cards, announcements and other post cards when I started a new position. Jamie worked very hard to put my ideas in place. Very happy with the end results!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step is to get to know my client. I want to sit with them and LISTEN, to learn about their goals, their challenges, and their short- and long-term marketing needs. After that, I will LOOK at their current marketing materials, if available: website, social media profiles, other collateral materials. I will talk to them about the current strategy, and together we will determine how we can improve their efforts.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Many of my clients are not able to identify what specific kind of support they need. And that's okay. I help them understand what they can do online, and the value these changes can bring to their business. Before meeting with a customer, I ask them to think through the RESULTS they want- whether that's increased sales, increased customer engagement, or brand recognition. Another thing to think about is the amount of time they may have to keep up with the changes themselves. Some want to handle the work themselves after setup. Others need to be able to hand this off to someone.
