FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I pride myself with providing a standard pricing system that is affordable. While most professional photographers will charge upward $100 to $200 an hour for their service, I do not believe expensive means quality but rather just more expensive. Therefore, my pricing system which usually is half the traditional cost leave customer with a price everyone can live with.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One of the first step of professional photography with new customers begins with an exploration of the three Ps. That is, purpose, personality, and portrait settings. I try to match the purpose new customers are requesting photos with their personality and portrait setting options. I blend customers ideas with a few visual suggestions of my own. I do not limit or restrict customers to only a few pictures but rather take a myriad of photos to ensure the right photo is taken.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Like most people, I love taking pictures and having memories of life experiences too precious to forget. I have taken photos of my family and friends for years which is how I got started in doing this type of work. After I began to appreciate the the amount of joy a single photo can bring, I developed a passion for photography which I wanted to share with others.
