FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I do not have a standard pricing, my clients can rest assured knowing they receive the same quote pricing based on their session of choice, as everyone else. This means that my wedding pricing and my family session pricing are not the same price, but when two people inquire about a wedding they get the same quote based on number of people attending the wedding, and time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love meeting new people and hearing new stories, so my process for working with new clients is being 100% open and attentive to the needs and requests they have for their shoot. I like to have them send a paragraph or two of their story so I can better translate that into their photographs. I also like to incorporate activities my clients like to do into their sessions as well. So for example - when I get a family session inquiry I will ask them how many are in their family, is there a certain event they are wanting photographs for, and whether or not this is their first time ever doing family photos! Then I'll have one of the parents send me a few words about each family member so I can better understand their personalities. Another example is weddings! I love weddings, a celebration of love is the best memory to capture and I'm honored that each of my clients chose me to participate in documenting one of the most magical day of their lives together. For a wedding inquiry I'll typically complete the initial Q&A - how many guests, date and time, and location. I'll ask for their "love story" in the bride or grooms own words, and I'll usually throw in a free engagement session or a dinner and drinks on my expense to make sure we'll be a good fit so I don't add any stress to their big day! I will also act as a planner the day of and make sure people are where they need to be on time, and I am ALSO equipped with coffee and backup lipstick and mascara for those teary eyed first look photos! So really it depends on the session inquiry that I receive, but my main process is gathering information, learning about the client(s) and making sure we'll be a good fit! Because my only goal is to create memories of your biggest moments, and I can't do that if there is an added stress, so I work very hard to alleviate that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelors degree in business, and am currently taking courses for a minor in Fine Arts at the KC Art Institute.
