FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With new customers I typically set up a consultation during a time that works with their schedule. I like to see the requested work and find out what is to be performed and why. I will then look it over as well as the rest of the property. Afterwards I will offer suggestions and recommendations on not only the current work to be performed but also tree health and hazards to look out for in the future. I can also set up multiple bids so the work can be spread out over time to fit any budget requirements.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done and still do high voltage line clearence for several years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started off as a young child helping my father by stacking firewood to keep our home warm during winter. As I grew older he taught me how to fell a tree and safe chainsaw techniques. This laid the roots to become a groundman doing power line clearance. It was a tough dangerous job, but with alot of hard work and a desire to learn I was able to move up to a trimmer position. After proving myself as a trimmer I was able to become a forman running a crew. As a foreman I was not only responsible for over 100 thousand dollars worth of equipment every day but most importantly keeping the workers under me safe.
