FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will be thorough and detailed in my bids. Frequently starting work, such as removing flooring to install tile and finding that the wood underlayment is rotten, will uncover additional work that is needed to ensure a quality job. I will always try to make the customer aware of such possibilities, and how I would expect to handle and charge for such situations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to come out, see the work needed, and write up a bid, and answer any questions I can during the initial visit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have almost 30 years of experience/training/working in construction/repair projects and have always worked with my hands. No "formal education" in the construction field. However, I have an associate's in applied engineering, and a bachelor in business management degree.
