Cole Stevens and his crew at Canopy solutions have performed a variety of jobs on my trees. They have safely removed tall trees that were starting to lean toward neighbors' homes, cut back overgrown laurel and Leyland Cypress into hedges, evaluated the health of trees and applied nutrients and pruned to facilitate growth, they removed a number of trees that had died or were starting to get tangled in power lines, they cleared a path through dense woods so that I could install a fence and they have thinned out the canopies of tall trees to remove dead limbs, reduce wind resistance and improve the trees' health. They have always showed up on time and cleaned everything up at the end of the job. Mr Stevens is a certified arborist and very knowledgeable about the health and care of trees. He takes the time necessary to discuss and understand the job the customer wants done. He also has a lot of suggestions on keeping your trees healthy. His prices are very reasonable. I have owned this property for many years and have had a lot of tree work done by a number of contractors. There are the fly-by-nighters who will work for almost nothing, but you don't know where your trees are going to fall, they do a hack job on your nice trees and shrubs and they leave a mess for you to clean up. There are the super expensive guys who have a crane that has to be paid for, so they want to bring it out for every job. There are the guys who want to cut everything in sight, so they try to scare you into turning your trees into skeletons. Cole Stevens is none of the above. He makes a calm scientific evaluation of your tree situation, makes a reasonable bid, gets the job done in a timely manner and cleans up after himself. He's the only arborist I will use in the future.

Topnotch prune on my Japanese Maple. Opened up to let the sun in between the branches. Took out lots of old dead wood. Cole really knows what he's doing.

We have used Canopy Solutions for several years for jobs ranging from 150 foot tall tree removal to pruning our orchard. Their price was always competitive and they did a great job. Excellent cleanup.
