Introduction: I am an American Artist from Toledo Ohio. My Pop art and Simplistic Design work grew out of inspiration from New York City street culture of the 1980s. I have accomplished spontaneous murals in Costa Rica and Los Angeles. Bold stroke outlines on concrete and dray walls – depicting landscapes and exaggerated Sans-serif typography, abstract and simplified aztec patterns. I create larger scale works such as colorful murals, many of them commissioned. My imagery is a “visual language". It’s a conversation between the wall and the viewer. It’s reducing the number of elements in a design by only keeping what's really visually useful. Making elements multifunctional while still clear and purposeful. I understand that simplicity in the aesthetic tends to be a byproduct of simplicity in the structure.
