FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working for a local property manager during the summers in high school doing everything from painting to basic plumbing. Throughout college, I continued to develop my technical skills by flipping houses in the summers with a friend of mine. It wasn't until post-college when I really began to start doing what I do today. I worked for Jefferson Electric in Indianapolis, and it was there that I became a professional electrical and remodel contractor. The combination of these skills is what has led me to where I am today, being just as comfortable updating electrical components as I am with remodeling a bathroom or replacing a roof.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You don't have to go with us for your next project. Really. But do yourself a favor and ask LOTS of questions before hiring someone to do work for you. Chances are good that if they don't know what they're talking about, a few well-phrased questions will expose that and you'll know better than to hire them. Once you've asked a couple good questions, the real pros tend to stand out right away. The last thing you want is for someone to re-wire your house and hide a safety hazard in your wall because he didn't know any better. So go ahead and ask ask ASK!
