FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I use an industry standard pricing program known as xactimate. The same program that your insurance adjuster uses. The program updates monthly based in various economic factors, this keeps my price fair and competitive while also providing a line item detail of exactly what is included in the contract.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Pretty straight forward, meet and greet measure, talk about what I can do for you. Once we have a clear understanding of the project we put it in writing, time to think it over as needed, no pressure, free estimates. When you are ready we sign and schedule to start, typically within a few days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The vast majority of what i have learned has been one the job, working next to some of the most highly skilled craftsmen this wold has to offer as well as quite a few memorable characters along the way. That being said I am a licensed General B contractor in good standing. I hold more than 20 certifications in everything from asbestos, lead, mold, water damage, mold and sewage. I am also certified for structure, roofing, siding, electrical and HVAC inspection as well as plumbing, drainage, solar, and various other utility and specialty systems . I have taken classes in drafting, design and structural engineering (not yet an architect) but I have drawn approved plans and had to correct structural engineers and building inspectors in several red tag scenarios.
