- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have always been very fair when pricing any project. I too, am a customer and fully understand the importance of “stretching the dollar” as far as possible. My conscience does not allow me to “price gouge” and I believe customers these days are savvy enough and most do their research.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a "get to know you" conversation. This affords an opportunity for both parties to express ideas, thoughts and parameters. We want our customers to feel confident and comfortable with us. From there, we provide good communication so the customer is always informed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have sold construction products. I have been a skilled tradesman in areas such as carpentry, tile, flooring, painting and drywall to name a few for more than 30 years. Also, I have been employed as residential construction manager for several large home builders in the Chicago area.
