FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically the way I calculate a quote is a 35.00 per hour plus the supplies needed to do the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with the customer about the specific problem they are having. Pictures are great also. After speaking with the person about the problem I estimate and draw up a quote on estimated work that needs to be done. At that point they may accept or decline. If they accept we determine a date and time for the work to be done. I do the work when that date and time arrive. The customer is happy and everything works as it should.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work full time as industrial maintenance for a company based in Lancaster PA. Iv been in the industrial maintenance field for 2 years currently. For extra cash I do electrical work in residential homes basements and garages. I studied 3 years to become an electrician at Western Montgomery Career and Technology center during my high school years. After graduating I moved to Lancaster to get a degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Currently I pursue my college degree more then my high school trade degree but they go hand in hand one is just a bit more hardcore then the other.
