- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a fixed rate because I believe my customers should pay for results, rather than how much time I spend on a task. My rates also vary based on the complexity of the task, but that's determined after discussing with the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's important for me to understand my customer's goal for their business and what difficulties they are experiencing. Many times, what the customer sees is a symptom of the problem, rather than the ptoblem itself. I help my customer uncover and solve the root cause.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and 20 years of work experience in companies from small startups and family owned businesses to large international companies. I have handled everything in the business, from bookeeping and payroll to taxes and financial anslysis. Although I have the qualifications to sit for the exam, I must emphasize that I am NOT a CPA.
