FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my pricing off of what I charge through my corporation for moving furniture and design jobs. I am flexible for handyman services that are on the side. Anything that is with my normal day to day work isn't flexible. It never hurts to ask sometimes I'm willing to gain the customer by offering the discount.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For handyman services I held a second job for 6 yrs with a bank repo company doing odd jobs repairing homes and winterizing and adding safety features to repoed homes. With the furniture industry I've worked for furniture stores as a teenager and freight company's along with interior design firms later that turned imto my own company doing deliverys and freight eventually leading to today I have 3 trucks 3 crews handle every pic of furniture that comes to Vegas for interior designers even for my competition. I do thumbtack to stay busy.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up with my parents owning furniture stores and I've taken classes for repair general and furniture.
