FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for each job/contract is based on the following factors: - The number of guards needed - If the guards are armed or unarmed - If the guards are in uniform (standard) or plain clothes (bodyguard, etc.) - If use of a vehicle is needed. We can provide marked patrol vehicles for any job/contract, regardless of size. - The hours and duration of the job/contract. This includes the start and end times that services are needed (ex: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm), as well as the length of the job (the days, weeks, months, or year services are needed). - If it is a single job/contract or repeat work with a contracted client. - Other specific needs of the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we receive a request for service from Thumbtack, we send an initial quote to the customer. We then work with them via Thumbtack, email, and phone to ensure that the details of the job are accurately verified. After the terms and rate of pay are agreed upon, a contract is drafted and sent with an invoice to the client. Clients must pay the agreed upon service retainer or pay in full prior to services being rendered. We then select the officer(s) best suited to the job and schedule them for the times requested.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our guards have diverse security experience, allowing us to provide highly-skilled guards to meet a variety of client needs. Many of these guards have over ten years of security experience in Nevada. Many guards are former members of the military with security experience. We also have a number of guards who have completed Nevada POST (Peace Officers Standards and Training) Category I training. Griffin Security Solutions officers are also trained to develop strong customer service and communication skills and to understand the importance of professionalism.
