Montes Contractors were excellent. I hired them to build new steps for the English basement of my DC townhouse. They demolished the old steps, which were shallow and crumbling, and custom-built a stairway frame for the new steps, as well as the adjacent wall. The concrete work was very nicely done, and the finished concrete steps are both highly functional and attractive. Best of all, the price was reasonable for the job.
Walter Montes is also a pleasure to work with. He communicates well and manages a team of true professionals. My advice is to ask a lot of questions up front as well as during the job. Walter will answer your questions clearly, and will work closely with you to make sure you know what you are getting, and get the result you want.
In short: Walter and his team will do a great job for you for a fair price, and your customer service experience will be good throughout. Well worth hiring.
