Introduction: We are a food truck specializing in torched to order creme brulee in over 30 flavors. Our business began in Phoenix, AZ in March, 2009. We relocated to the Lawrence & Kansas City area in 2014 and have enjoyed growing the business here! In addition to dessert we make our hand pies from scratch and bake them to perfection! These are savory - we have both meat and vegetarian options. They make a great lunch with soup or salad and a fun late night wedding snack. These can be served from both the food truck and the cart. Gourmet street food is just fun and a unique way to feed your guests. Voted #6 Best Food Truck in the USA by Smithsonian Magazine 2012 Voted top 15 Dessert Trucks in USA by MSN 2015 As a Le Cordon Bleu trained Chef food is our passion. We use the best ingredients - local when possible - and enjoy putting our creative twist on classic foods. Being a mobile business allows us the opportunity to get into our community and participate in a variety of events. Farmers markets, festivals, street fairs, fundraisers are all a blast to do and a great way to meet our friends and neighbors! We also cater corporate events, parties, weddings.....any type of celebration!

They make throwing a big birthday bash easy! They cook, bring the food and serve outside so there is no mess in your home! Tasty food and a fun way to draw a crowd. :-).

We had Torched Goodness come to our neighborhood pool party. It was such a hit we had Julia, with Torched Goodness, back for our block party. Food was wonderful and Julia made everything so easy to plan. I would recommend her to anyone!

We loved working with Julia & team! She personally provided her creme brûlée cart, service, delicious personal brûlées, AND a smile to our wedding guests from near and far at our wedding brunch! Truly a wonderful person! And, she sent us a personalized thank you card with a photo of our event on it! What a touch!

So very easy to work with and the food was excellent. We got the chance to use Torched Goodness two times to feed about 20 on one occasion and about 50 on the other. The Irelands made it look easy, they were on time, up front and very professional with their service. I would not only recommend Torched Goodness, but would say you are missing out if you have never tasted their cooking.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a fee for the cart - usually around $75-$100 for up to 2 hours. The truck is generally $125-$200 for 2 hours. These numbers depend on distance. Additional hours are $50 per hour. Hand pies and creme brulee are $4 each.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically have a phone call and then continue the process via email. I'm a big believer in paper trails! We are available to do tastings, visit venues, etc.
