FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. Services have a flat, per hour rate. Travel and booking fee are added in after as well. We also give service discounts to students, police, fire, military, and EMS.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we schedual a meeting via email, my client and I sit down and discuss the expectations they have for the event. What type of music, dancing, ceremonial details, and lighting preferences are included in this conversation. Depending on the type of event, I could get out a wedding form, or simply take notes. Once I believe I have a full understanding of what the client needs, and they confirm my belief, we put everything in writing and make it official. I like visiting the venues ahead of time to make a floor plan. I usually show up very early to begin setup and test all my equipment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am the Station Engineer at 91.5 the Lion WFHU, and I've been a radio DJ prior to that promotion. I frequently use my voice to announce anything from baseball games to theater shows. I have spent over 5 years working in stage lighting design and maintenance.
