FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to keep everything simple for my clients. I send an FAQ that answers most questions that couples want or need answers too. Some of them are questions they don't know they should be asking. I also let them know what to expect the day of a wedding, and give planning advice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in business which helps when your self employed. But I really never knew what I wanted to do, until I discovered photography. After buying an expensive camera I quickly learned, you can take some crappy photos with a nice camera! So then I began reading every photography book, every photography website, forums, and just experimenting with photography nonstop. That has been a continuous theme for the past 8-9 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started shooting weddings around 8-9 years ago for a friend. I never expected to enjoy it, as I was more interested in sports photography. But it turns out...sports photography isn't that fun, but wedding photography is! At least to me. Weddings take just about every skill set from a photographer, plus it takes a certain personality.
