- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I gather all information I need from them such as what they expect of me, what specific images they need captured and what the financial situation is. I then simply talk with them to gather some idea of personality and how I can tailor the photoshoot specifically to them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Texas Tech University School of Art and got my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography. Upon graduating from Texas Tech I continued to do many photo sessions and also got a job at the Fossil corporate office in the photography studio.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up taking staged photos of my basketball gear after basketball camp. I loved anything and everything having to do with art and one time at a summer camp one of my counselors was in college for photography and was explaining to me how film and the dark room worked. It fascinated me and I knew then I wanted to pursue photography.
