Best investment ever!! Carole from The French Brush has transformed several "blah" areas of our house into "wow" areas:
- she turned our small wine cellar into a conversation piece with trompe d'oeils, faux brick and faux wood beams
- she faux finished a drywall fireplace surround to look like expensive stone
- she stained an elaborate design onto a concrete floor
- she used stencils to create a beautiful "chinoiserie" effect on an accent wall
We are currently designing a dining room accent wall with her and cannot wait to start the project.
We highly recommend The French Brush for your special projects. Carole is extremely talented, has a great eye for design and colors, does a great job with mock up designs of your vision and is lovely to work with.

Favorite faux painter in LA! The French Brush has been recommended to me by a contractor, and I am so glad I found Carole Da-Cruz, who was able to execute my vision by creating beautiful and colorful accent walls in my home. Her unique faux finishes have added a lot of depth to my rooms.
Carole is definitly very experienced, reliable, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Amazing artistry. Loving it, and highly recommend The French Brush!

Fabulous job. Carole came in to fixa chip in a wall that was painted with a chalk based paint on venetian plaster. The work was beyond wonderful. She also cleaned up other areas giving the wall a fresh appearance without making these areas look freshly painted. She also worked on French doors that had scratch marks from the dogs and matched the paint perfectly and blended it seamlessly. We Highly recommend Carole.

Carole came into my home and created a beautiful safari world for my boys' room. She was smart, creative and collaborative. The result was beyond my expectations. She was quick and reasonably priced. The original had a picture of my 2.5 year old riding a zebra. Two years later when I decided to another zebra with my younger son riding, she came back. To this day, her likeness of my boys created when they were 3 years old still looks just like them. I rue the day when they reach an age that living in a safari is just "not cool".
