Chef Jay is such an amazing warm and kind spirit. Her food is prepared with love, and you can taste it! We have monthly cooking lessons with my son and myself and he LOVES it! Jay takes a fun scientific approach to explaining food, often giving my son the tips and tricks he needs to create all types of cool things like parmesan cheese foam and teaching him how to make rainbow mozzarella cheese for his homemade pizzas - something he found beyond amazing. I enjoy the variety she offers - vegetarian dishes for me and kid-friendly gluten free meals for my son. She has taught me so much about preparing food for my boy that he can safely eat and enjoy without getting bored, and for that I am grateful. If you'd like flavor-filled food and a chef who has the patience of a saint, you'll for sure find that in Jay. Oh yea, ask her to make her amazing fried mac & cheese!

Janay is a phenomenal chef! She's always introducing me to new ingredients that I might have never tried. She truly provides an amazing experience and whenever she's cooking she motivates me to get in there and learn about her techniques! You can see Janay's passion in the kitchen and it's clear that she truly loves what she does. She is able to accommodate my dietary needs and allergies and deliver, literally, the most delicious food I've ever tasted. As a chef, Janay has become a part of my family, even preparing meal plans and recipes for my sister who lives out of town! I always look forward to her visits and I plan on keeping her around for a very long time!

Chef Jay is amazing, and WOW those flavors. It's so amazing hearing him speak about his travels and the families he's met along the way who have taught him the recipes he prepares for us weekly. We are so fortunate to have Jay in our lives! He's turned my son into a super chef....and he's only 8!

This guy puts on an amazing culinary experience! We have been working together on many shoots and events, and he never disappoints! Amazing food, amazing ingredients, amazing flavor, and presentation to die for! He's catered every birthday party for my children over the past 3 years and even my wedding! He's become part of the family.

I joke with Chef Jay often that he's (and his fried chicken) the reason I snagged my husband! Our cooking lessons are so full of life and information! I've even started to get my friends in on the action. What he does with flavor profiles (a term he taught me) is beautiful. Always on time and always comes through.

Services are priced per client in order to work with your budget. We require a 50% deposit to hold date on calendar.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts with a degree in Culinary Arts and Digital Food Media (ie. I make food look AND taste good).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mother taught me everything I know. I’d watch her in the kitchen every day, and sneak into the pots when she wasn’t looking. This is where my love and passion for sharing comfort food with others was sparked.
