About this pro
I'm a musician/Dj/music producer and I have been Djing for over 10 years around the Los Angeles area. I am also a Mental Health Therapist (my day job) and I feel like as a Dj and as a therapist I really enjoy being able to read people and basically make them happier. I am a music lover so I play almost every genre you can think of and I enioy it all. I usually play in Open Format (multiple genres) but can play the whole night focused on just one genre if you need. I also rent out speakers and everything you need for a party if you already have a Dj booked. I've played many high-end weddings, mansion parties and at all sorts of industry events and clubs...anything from a small house party to a large fundraiser and lots and lots of amazing weddings. I enjoy helping people figure out what they need for their parties and events even if that means they just need me to bring two small speakers over. I won't try to get you to rent a full system if your party will be perfect with a basic setup. As a therapist I just enjoy making people happy and that works well with providing any type of service really.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Yes, I have rental fees for my speakers on my website including discounted packages combining speakers and Dj gear combos. For mobile Djing (for weddings, parties and corporate events) I have fees set up depending on the amount of speakers and/or lights you'll need me to bring but I don't charge for extra hours so it's a flat rate in terms of the time. I can play for 8 hours with no break and no complaints (I actually love playing long sets). So I wouldn't want someone to limit how long they want music at their event based on cost. It makes no difference to me if I play for 4 hours or 8. But it does make a difference if I have to setup 6 speakers and a subwoofer vs 2 small speakers. :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I just need to know whether the event is indoors/outdoors, how many people they are expecting and their preferred music genres. That way I can help them figure out how many speakers they'll probably need depending on their situation (sometimes 4 small speakers is more than enough...and cheaper).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm a multi-instrumentalist musician so I make sure than when I'm mixing songs they flow into each other harmonically and not just at the right tempo. And then as a Therapist I'm pretty good at reading people's emotions so that helps with reading the crowd.
