About this pro
I've been Djing at weddings, clubs and private parties in Los Angeles for over 10 years including weddings at Chateau Marmont and the Beverly Hills Hotel. I usually play multiple genres from Classical, Bossanova, Frank Sinatra, and other Oldies during dinner and anything from Motown, Oldies, 80's and 90's, Classic Rock, Hiphop, Top 40's, Latin music or EDM for dancing. I work with the bride and groom to prepare a customized playlist ahead of time based on their specific music taste and I also take requests during the wedding. My standard quote includes 4 speakers and 2 wireless microphones along with Dj and MC service for as many hours as you need. I can adjust the quote to add additional speakers if needed. I also have a lighting package available that includes stage lights, cake spotlight, LED uplights, and fog and hazer machines. I also have a screen and projector for slideshows available if needed. I hope your event goes perfect and I'd love to be a part of it. Also let me know if you're still looking for bartenders, photographers or even magicians as I have great referrals in those areas. -Xavier I enjoy helping people figure out what they need for their weddings, parties and events even if that means they just need me to bring two small speakers over. I won't try to get you to rent a full system if your party will be perfect with a basic setup. As a therapist I just enjoy making people happy and that works well with providing any type of service really.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For mobile Djing (for weddings, parties and corporate events) I have fees set up depending on the amount of speakers and/or lights you'll need me to bring but I don't charge for extra hours so it's a flat rate in terms of the time. I can play for 8 hours with no break and no complaints (I actually love playing long sets). So I wouldn't want someone to limit how long they want music at their event based on cost. It makes no difference to me if I play for 4 hours or 8. But it does make a difference if I have to setup 6 speakers and a subwoofer vs 2 small speakers. :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I just need to know whether the event is indoors/outdoors, how many people they are expecting and their preferred music genres. That way I can help them figure out how many speakers they'll probably need depending on their situation (sometimes 4 small speakers is more than enough...and cheaper).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I'm a multi-instrumentalist musician so I make sure than when I'm mixing songs they flow into each other harmonically and not just at the right tempo. And then as a Therapist I'm pretty good at reading people's emotions so that helps with reading the crowd.
