Introduction: As a designer my goal isn't just to make you happy, it is to create a design that will allow your brand and your business to stand out. Now, that may sound like a tall order, but when you work with me you'll see just how important delivering a quality product is.
Unlike most designers I don't see this as just another job, I see it as another way to express my creativity through form and function. What makes me different from other designers is that I design based on upcoming trends, always looking to be a step ahead into not what is just hot today, but what is going to be relevant in the near future.
Most people who get into a line of work get their inspiration from someone who is already successful in that career. It isn't like that for me though. My inspiration comes more from the concept that I want to do things like no other person does. I want to create in a way where people know it is me who did it. Being unique is tough in the world that we live in, however I believe that through my art I am able to express myself and my clients in such a way where everyone is thrilled with the result.
When trying to figure out what I should do with my career I knew that it had to be something related to art (as art has been my passion since I was a child), but as we all know artist don't tend to make much money while they are still alive. So, I thought about it and decided that graphic design was a good midpoint between my passion and a way to make a living. When I made this decision I didn't know how much i would actually like it. But, it turns out that I love what I do because it is a form of communication that is silent but resonates with people. I love graphic design because in a way I can control everything the viewer is thinking with the use of color, form, shape and the rest of the artistic elements. Graphic design, unlike most art, has a specific meaning and a specific message that someone is trying to send. It isn't up for interpretation or left to the viewers to decipher, the image should have a clear and concise message and feeling that the design is trying to communicate. I love what I do because I love creating, no matter what it is.
