Introduction: Portuguese Services (classes, translation, localization and voice over) With a background in Journalism, I have been teaching Portuguese and Cultural Immersion since 2004. I have had students from scientific field to an Oscar winner. I talk about the difference of written and spoken language, as well as many expressions. I am passionate about languages either when I am learning or teaching. It's fascinating to help someone to acquire a new skill where they are able to communicate with other people. As an immigrant, I understand and relate the challenges of learning a new language and I apply all my experience in class.

Prior to a vacation to Brazil, I wanted to learn a little bit of the language so I could get around, say "please" and "thank you", and generally just be less of an "ugly American". Gisele is such an amazing teacher that even after I returned I continued classes for two years! I loved the language, but Gisele also made it extremely accessible and engaging. She utilized everyday situations to learn the basics, and taught what you were likely to use in actual conversations. She even covered some regional slang, accents, and other tips that were useful as I traveled from Rio de Janeiro, to São Paulo, to Florianópolis. I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn Brazilian Portuguese for work, family, or fun!
