FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a full range of pricing depending on the complexity and size of the project. From local small businesses to corporate offices, Duncan Mischo murals and commissioned artwork can be tailored for any budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new clients, we strongly encourage holding at least one initial discussion on location. We make ourselves available to clients during normal business hours over the phone, and any time via email for extended discussion about your project. After the specificities of the project have been agreed upon there is a sketching period, which normally last one week, followed by the installation. The mural installation traditionally takes one week, with larger projects running up to two. For smaller locations there is a one day option, as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was educated at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, class of 2011. Graduating with a fine arts degree, I was trained in traditional painting, contemporary painting, ceramics, woodworking, sculpture, and silk screening, focusing on interdisciplinary application. Since graduation I have been aesthetically involved in dozens of local businesses, including everything from from hanging a small painting to expansive 35ft murals. In the summer of 2014, the Duncan Mischo team began tenure as the CEO and creative director of a small women's wear boutique on Boylston St. in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston. Over our year long engagement we navigated all sides of creative contracting, being both contracted ourselves, and contracting other.
