I found Alex through Instagram. I’ve wanted to have photos taken for a while. Alex was a true godsend. She made me feel so comfortable. She was so encouraging and created such an incredibly safe space. I had no idea what to expect but I still had so many nerves beforehand. She laid them all my fears and discomforts to rest and made me feel like an absolute goddess. Her vision, her ability to see not only the scene and lighting, but to also capture people is incredible. She is unrivaled in her talent and vision and ability to bring that into reality. I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is, both as a photographer and creator, but as a person to work with. I cannot wait to work with her again.

Alex is a special photographer and person. I cherish all the photos Alex has taken of me. It is an intimate thing to have your portraits taken by someone, but Alex makes it easy to let your guard down. She even got my camera-shy boyfriend to get in a few shots. It is clear, through her work and her interactions, she embraces diversity of expression and body positivity. She isn’t hung up on making you look a certain way to fit some style: she’s capturing your expression with her unique perspective. She makes you feel comfortable and beautiful throughout the process. This is one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten myself. If you’re in doubt just do it, you won’t regret it. (PS I tried to add photos but it wouldn’t let me)

Alex was so amazing to work with. I have worked with her on multiple portrait shoots and at my wedding. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable. Her photos capture the natural beauty of the moment- nothing staged. I am so happy to have her images of my special day. She captured little moments that I did not even notice but are now in my memory forever. Her use of color and her style are very unique, and will definitely satisfy your every need. Alex is a true professional. She did portraits of my teenage daughter and just brought out the best in her. She captured her in ways I didn’t think were possible. We met in a park and she used several different backgrounds and really took the whole shoot very serious. I am very pleased with the results and needless to say, I highly recommend her.
