FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is not set in stone as every individuals needs are unique. My hourly rate is purely a guideline. Once we determine what service, and to which extent, works for you I can quote an accurate fee. I prefer to charge a flat rate over an hourly fee as this is more beneficial to my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin all my relationships with my clients with a complimentary phone consultation. During this call I learn about their style goals and what they wish to gain by working with me. I also learn about their lifestyle as this will be an important factor in developing a wardrobe that is unique to them. I follow up with a New Client Intake form which goes further in depth, covering everything from sizing, to budget to inspiration. Once these two important steps are complete the real fun begins... the styling!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my BA from UCSB, where I studied Studio Art. I furthered my education at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, where I received a degree in Fashion Design. Post graduation I worked as a Fashion Designer for numerous years before deciding on my true passion- Styling!
