Introduction: Atlas Vocal Studio was born out of a commitment to instilling confidence in kids from a young age, combined with a lifelong passion and dedication to music and singing. We coach confidence through singing and inspire students to hit targets and dream big. As a parent herself, Jaymee wanted to create a studio that not only provides parents with the flexibility of scheduling, but also the ability for kids to have the most robust and dynamic lessons. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We try a lesson and if they love it they usually come weekly. Parents must let us bond and work in order to have success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to musical theater conservatory in nyc, danced and did theater for several years, and had some incredible vocal coaches. I also had one in college that encouraged me to quit performing and that helped me shape the way I coach and believe in my students.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I realized I could play enough piano to help others feel confident while singing in 2016 so I just took the leap and the rest is history.
