- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The only standard pricing that I really have is hourly maintenance work in landscape beds. We charge between 25 and $30 an hour to do reoccurring landscape maintenance depending on what we are working with. Everything else is bid individually.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most efficient way that I have found is to meet with the customer one-on-one to find out exactly what services are desired and if we are a good fit to work with one another.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up my mother and father had absolutely beautiful gardens. My whole childhood and teenage years we spent out in the Gardens helping maintain them. As a teenager I started working at Shadybend nursery and learned a lot about plants. I have been in this field ever since.
