FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
THERAPY: Private Pay: I have a mostly private pay practice. I use a sliding scale based on your household income to determine your fee. I find this makes it a lot more affordable for my clients, and they are able to afford coming in more often if they need to. TO GET AN ACCURATE PERSONALIZED QUOTE, please include your household income somewhere in your initial contacts with me. Insurance: I accept primary Medicaid-based plans. I will also work with you to submit forms to your insurance requesting out-of-network reimbursement if you want. (It is up to your insurance as to whether they will reimburse you, and how much). COACHING: - $75 Package - Week 1: 1 hour of online video coaching including meet-and-greet, problem assessment, and goal-setting. Week 2: Support emails including feedback form, trouble-shooting, and motivation. Week 3: Support emails including feedback form, trouble-shooting, and motivation. Week 4: Support emails including feedback form, "report card" of positive changes and knowledge learned, and future goal planning. - $120 Package - Week 1: 1 hour of online video coaching including meet-and-greet, problem assessment, and goal-setting. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with getting to know my clients and what it is that's motivating you to seek changes in your life. From there, the process will be different depending on whether you want therapy or coaching. Coaching moves quickly and is goal and task-oriented; we'll form a dynamic teamwork-based relationship to help you plan, commit to, and follow-through on behavior changes. Therapy uses more time to allow for assessing what you need and why; building a safe relationship to explore patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; and working together to challenge your old way of being by trying out and building habits in new, healthier ways of thinking, expressing, acting, and relating to others.
