Barbell Therapy and Performance
About this pro
Fantastic massage session with Brett today. He’s very personable, anticipates your needs well, explains what he is doing and why, and adapts to your preferences (music, pressure, etc). I highly recommend him for anyone needing any type of massage treatment.Jun 29, 2018Verified
Made huge improvements since I started working with barbell therapy.Jan 4, 2018
Coming from a high level sports background, it was nice to see someone so dedicated to a specific practice. Attention to detail and progression is a steady theme with the Barbell Therapy Model and it makes a huge difference. Strength is only part of the puzzle and you quickly realize that in sessions with Brett. I will continue going to him for quite some time.Nov 13, 2017

Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and highly skilled therapist. I have been working with Brett for over 3 years now. I first started working with Brett for personal training. After a back injury I started working with him as my physical therapist. I am always impressed and satisfied with services received; he takes the time to explain the causes of symptoms and pains and explains what needs to get worked on, why and how to safely go about it. My back pain is much more controllable and less frequent and I am much stronger than before we started working together. I would recommend anyone suffering from joint pain, an injury, or looking to step up his or her training gives Barbell Therapy a call.Aug 28, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Price listed is average hourly rate. There are incentives for purchasing bigger packages, training more frequently, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Slow and steady. Getting clients to change lifestyles and habits takes time and making those changes slowly overtime often ends in much more long term success. All too often I see people try to flip life upside down on themselves and end up overwhelmed and failing. Long term consistency trumps short term intensity.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have received a doctorate in physical therapy as well as a bachelors degree in exercise physiology along with a minor in nutrition.
