- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no exact standard when it comes to pricing projects. A flat fee is much preferred than an hourly rate. Typically the higher intensity and scope of a project the more expensive the project will be, and vice versa. It is ensured no matter the project, a fair and affordable quote will be provided!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process of beginning to work with a new client is gathering all information needed to complete a particular project the client is requesting. This includes the dimensions for the graphic. The media of the graphic (e.g. flyer, poster, web graphic, and so on). Any required logos, images, or print that need to be included in the graphic. And anything else that the client requires. To ensure a fully satisfied client at the end of the project it begins with fantastic and thorough communication between the client and the designer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Christopher Vestal, the designer behind Vestal Designs, is currently employed within the graphic design field and also has previous experience. Previously he was employed by the Texas Tornado Hockey Club as a Graphic Design Intern from June 2012 to June 2013. Christopher is currently employed as a Graphic Design Student Assistant for the Texas Tech Alumni Association and also employed as a Graphic Design Intern for the Texas Tech Athletic Department. He began these employment opportunities in August 2015 and October 2015, respectively. In addition to these jobs he has also completed projects for the North Iowa Bulls Hockey Club in 2013. Also, he completed multiple projects for his high school and his school district from 2011 to 2013.
