FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
100% of our custom projects also have custom pricing. After we listen to your ideas- we can price you easily. As the project progresses, if you want to add or delete things on your work order- just let us know. We have a simple way to confirm and approve, so NO surprises!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer asks for a quote...typically, 1. We will set a time to meet and look over the project area and approve the quote and timeline, then, 2. We order the parts and materials, and schedule the carpenters for your start date. We also handle MANY smaller projects that require less planning and might be only a single day project or so, say a new tile bathroom floor or new wrought iron stair balusters? Sometimes clients want to purchase their own tile or stair parts in these cases-- no problem-- schedule a carpenter! One of the most fun days, for us, is when a client wants us build something crazy and interesting from Pinterest or Houzz!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have degrees in Cabinet Making and Architectual Millwork from Madison College. We have about 50 years of combined experience working on projects ranging from doorknobs to concrete foundations, fingerpainting to computer controlled (CNC) carving machines. We have a full workshop in Madison, where we build everything for our clients projects. We can also provide CAD, CAM and other 3D modeling and drawing for our clients. We can 3D draw your new dream house, or a new fireplace.
