Introduction: STIR is a celebration of the beautiful blend of cultures that is US. Our cuisine is inspired by and pays homage to a collection of family recipes. It was created with imagination; an idea that through food we can inspire, nourish, spark collaboration and innovation and cultivate a culture of connectivity.
My family is a diverse mix of cultures blended into something I consider beautiful. In the middle of it all, there was the kitchen and THIS is where food became my language of love. Generations of tradition and culinary mastery hovered over large cutting boards and hot stoves; hammering sounds of knives chopping, endless laughter and old tunes blasting in the background. As kids we all knew our bellies were in for a real treat! Since then, I realized that through food we forge relationships and inspire and connect generations of people.
With an imagination, my two entrepreneurial sons in tote and an idea, that through food we could nourish, spark collaboration and innovation and cultivate a culture of connectivity; we created STIR to be a celebration of the beautiful blend of cultures that is US. Our cuisine is inspired by and pays homage to a collection of family recipes rooted in our Filipino, American and Caribbean culture.
Creating a family atmosphere is what we have been known to do. Our restaurants became the place where many gathered with their families, celebrated a birthday or discussed new ideas; it’s were many had their first date or celebrated their anniversary. It’s been sometime since those early days in that family kitchen where I learned my first language of love but the tradition is one I will continue to pass down to my own children. Over the years we have brought many together with our food. We welcome the opportunity to do the same for you.
